Genesis 15:6 is repeated five times in the Bible.
1) The Origin of Faith
- God of Beginnings
2) The Obligation of Faith
- You have to make the decision yourself. John 6:29, 1 John 3:23
3) The Object of Faith
-it's not the strength of your faith, but who your faith is in...Jesus!
-LORD - Yahweh - covenant name for God.
-Genesis 15 is where God reveals to Abraham the promised seed that is to come.
4) The Outcome of Faith
-righteousness
Salvation is NOT in what you can do!
