God's Word is:

1) Powerful - Hebrews 4

2) Profitable - 2 Timothy 3:16

3) Palatable - good to taste: Psalm 19:7-10, Psalm 119:103, 105, 128

4) Purifying - John 15:1-3, Psalm 119:9

Things that must be in place:

1) There must be a desire - 1 Peter 2:1-2

2) Humility - James 1:21 (meekness)

Have we lost our liberty and delight in the Word of God?
