Characteristics of the Dark Night:

2) Prolonged Sadness

3) You lose your joy

4) You have an inner struggle of the soul

5) Feel overwhelmed

6) Feel God has rejected you

How to get out of darkness/discouragement:

1) Come to God and ask for a hunger and thirst for Him.

2) Come with the people of God to the house of God.

3) Hope in God

4) Pray
